This blog’s gonna get super dark super fast. It’s one of those nights.
Not my usual kind of post, but those that know me understand why I’m posting it.

Note to self: avoid Tumblr at all costs while in the middle of an existential crisis. Your weak little heart will not be able to handle it.

words that are biphobic and why
I really hate when people use “gay” as a catch-all. I am not gay and it Mrs me identify with the LFBTWTF movement even less.
Not bi, but fuck biphobes.

Arwen. There is nothing for you here, only death.

A lot of people have been asking me about one of the classical pieces in BioShock Infinite. I’m more than happy to share this with you!
The piece is entitled Lacrimosa, and it’s from Mozart’s Requiem.
It is hands down one of my favorite classical compositions of all time, and I would like to thank BioShock for throwing it back my way. It’s a truly hauntingly beautiful and fragile piece. The lyrics are also quite befitting of the game’s concept as well.
Lacrimosa dies illa (mournful that day) Qua resurget ex favilla (when from the ashes shall rise) Judicandus homo reus. (a guilty man to be judged)
Huic ergo parce, Deus (Lord, have mercy on him) Pie Jesu Domine (gentle lord Jesus) Dona eis requiem. (grant them eternal rest) Amen.
If you have the time, I highly recommend listening to the full composition. I promise you you’ll fall in love in the first 5 minutes.
